The Romanian Chess Federation announced on Wednesday the launch of the 'Chess Nest' project, supported by the Dragic Foundation, aimed at supporting juniors who achieve international performance in chess. The program offers a structured system of financial and logistical support for young athletes who win international titles up to the age of 18.
With a total estimated budget of 100,000 euros over four years, eligible juniors will benefit from financial bonuses, coverage of participation in international tournaments, a monthly allowance of 250 euros, and training sessions with top coaches.
The program aims to develop a new generation of elite players and strengthen Romania's position in international competitions.
The Romanian Chess Federation reaffirms its commitment to invest in the future of Romanian chess, inviting the community to join this initiative.
