The Afumați - Pantelimon section of the Capital's Ring Road is completed at a rate of 90%

The general director of CNAIR, Cristian Pistol, announced that the Afumați - Pantelimon section of the Capital's Ring Road is 90% completed. This section is essential for relieving traffic from section 4 (Pantelimon-Glina) and for connections with section 2 (Corbeanca-Afumați) and the A3 and A2 highways. On the 8.5 km of the site, the Chinese contractor mobilizes 160 workers and 100 machines, but the pace is considered insufficient.

At the DN3 Overpass, the physical progress is about 60%, while at the Overpass over DN2, it is 99.3%. At the A0 Interchange with DN2, the progress is approximately 90%, and at the Overpass over CF 800, it is 94%. CNAIR emphasizes the importance of completing the works this autumn, considering the contract value of 397.99 million lei, financed through the Transport Program 2021-2027.
