Stelian Bujduveanu declared on Tuesday that the elections for Bucharest must be organized quickly, and a common candidate would stabilize the majority in the CGMB until the end of 2028 and would solve some of the city's problems.

Bujduveanu, the interim mayor of the Capital, mentioned that he has not received an official communication from the governmental coalition regarding this subject, but hopes that a response will come soon. He highlighted that the current political arithmetic requires collaboration between PNL, PSD, and USR to form a functional majority. The interim mayor emphasized that a common candidate would facilitate the adoption of projects and the implementation of public policies, avoiding dysfunctions in the mayor's office. He also stressed that government stability is a priority for Bucharest and the entire country.
