Ilie Bolojan received Nadia Comăneci at the Victoria Palace: Discussions about promoting Romania through sports and projects dedicated to the year 2026

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan had a meeting with gymnast Nadia Comăneci, in the context of the projects dedicated to the "Nadia Comăneci Year" 2026. The meeting was organized in the context of the Gala '50 years since the first score of 10.00', scheduled for May 29 at the Palace of Parliament, and the 'Gala of Champions', which will take place on May 31 in Onești.

These events are part of the celebrations dedicated to the Nadia Comăneci Year, highlighting the exceptional achievements of the legend of Romanian gymnastics.

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan emphasized Nadia Comăneci's impact on Romanian sports, stating that her success was the result of hard work, seriousness, and talent.

Additionally, the Government of Romania has approved the modernization and expansion of the sports base of the Onești Municipal Sports Club, where Nadia trained. The investment, proposed by the Ministry of Development, exceeds 122 million lei and aims to revitalize the sports infrastructure in the symbolic city of Romanian gymnastics.
