A major damage on a 1,000 mm main pipe, almost 40 years old, led to the shutdown of the CET Progresu and affected the supply of hot water to 56% of the buildings in Bucharest. The repair work started on Tuesday morning and Termoenergetica announced that the teams are working to restore the supply of hot water in safe conditions. The work is expected to be completed by Wednesday evening at 23:00.
