Two teenagers from Năsturelu, Teleorman county, called 112 to alert the authorities about a possible black panther spotted near their house. The gendarmes intervened but found no traces of the animal. Footage filmed by the youngsters suggests the presence of a big cat similar to the panther previously reported in Bulgaria. But experts dispute the authenticity of the tracks and video footage, suggesting they could belong to a large dog. Authorities continue to monitor the area to investigate all reports received.
