On Friday evening, a 60-year-old taxi driver was fatally stabbed in Mioveni, Argeș County, by a 21-year-old client.

The incident took place on a bridge, where the young man attacked him with a knife, stealing his wallet, phone, and jacket, before fleeing. The man, seriously injured, managed to crawl almost 500 meters to seek help, but died before he could be resuscitated by the medical teams. The police were alerted and mobilized forces to catch the suspect, who was found in a field area and taken for questioning. Investigations continue under the coordination of a prosecutor to establish the circumstances of the incident.
