A tanker loaded with 31 tons of gasoline overturned on DN7 in the locality of Cotmeana, Argeș County, with traffic being stopped in both directions.

The incident was reported on Friday by ISU Argeș, which specified that the vehicle had partially overturned off the roadway. Authorities observed fuel leaks through the filling caps, requesting containers to capture them.

The tanker driver managed to self-evacuate before the intervention teams arrived, being conscious and cooperative, but presenting multiple traumas. He was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

The intervention forces implemented measures to prevent fires and evacuate drivers stuck in traffic.
