A bus driver in Mississippi suffered an asthma attack, and the students quickly intervened to save her.

On Wednesday, the Hancock Middle School bus from Kiln, Mississippi, was involved in a dramatic incident when the driver, Leah Taylor, suffered an asthma attack and fainted. The students reacted quickly, and Jackson Casnave, a 12-year-old boy, grabbed the steering wheel after noticing that the bus was starting to swerve.

Darrius Clark, another student, tried to hit the brakes but was nearly thrown through the windshield due to the pneumatic brakes. Together, the two managed to slow down the bus and steer it towards the median to stop it. Kayleigh Clark, Darrius's sister, called 911, while Destiny Cornelius used a nebulizer to help Taylor. McKenzy Finch supported the driver's head and informed the school district about the incident. Emergency crews arrived quickly, and Taylor made a full recovery. The students were praised for their bravery at a school assembly, and Taylor stated that she is proud of them and will be grateful to them forever.
