The Bihor Public Health Directorate has launched an epidemiological investigation at two hotels in the Băile Felix resort after more than 20 children staying there felt unwell.

The children were aged between 10 and 14 years and participated in a football tournament, being accommodated in two hotels. After a meal, many of the children began to complain of severe pain and vomiting, and three of them were transported to the Emergency Reception Unit for medical care. Parents suspect a food poisoning, and some reported that their children were bitten by bedbugs in the hotel rooms. The Bihor Public Health Directorate has initiated investigations to determine the exact causes of the incident, while parents express their concern about the accommodation and food conditions.
