The storm hit Bucharest hard on Thursday evening after meteorologists issued a code red for bad weather. Many streets were flooded in Bucharest. The Unirii Passage was also flooded for dozens of minutes. Trees fell, some on cars. Part of the false ceiling of the shopping mall collapsed under the pressure of the water above it, as the storm in Cluj-Napoca was a major one.
