A violent fire broke out at a plastic materials warehouse in Herăști, Giurgiu, prompting the preventive evacuation of seven people from nearby homes.

On Thursday morning, a strong fire broke out at a plastic and rubber warehouse in the locality of Herăști, Giurgiu County. Firefighters from the Greaca Work Point, Colibași Station, and the Bucharest-Ilfov Emergency Situations Inspectorate intervened quickly with special vehicles. The fire was spreading over an area of approximately 100 square meters, with the risk of spreading to nearby buildings. For safety reasons, some people from neighboring homes evacuated themselves.
