The first effects of the storm in Bucharest: fallen trees and a collapsed pole, a damaged car

A powerful storm caused damage on Sunday in several areas of the Capital, and the Bucharest-Ilfov Emergency Situations Inspectorate (ISU B-IF) responded to numerous requests.

Among the reported incidents are the toppling of a pole on Fundeni Road, a tree falling onto the roadway on Trotușului Street, and a tree crashing onto a car on Dreptății Street.

The authorities issued a RO-Alert message, advising Bucharest residents to take shelter and avoid traveling. ISU emphasized the risks associated with storms, and citizens are advised to avoid sheltering under trees and not to park vehicles near them. Intervention teams continue to monitor the situation and work to remove obstacles.
