Stelian Ion, former Minister of Justice, blames the stagnation in the Nordis case on the lack of funds provided by the Public Ministry for expert reports. He believes that this affects the victims and that the state seems to be protecting criminals. The ICCJ prosecutor's office, on the other hand, denies the accusations, saying that the DIICOT did not request funds and that no expert reports have been carried out in the case. The Nordis case involves 11 people, including a former MP, accused of serious crimes.
