Constantin Flavius Nedelcea, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Economy, has been sent to court by DNA prosecutors, being accused of instigation to abuse of office. Authorities suspect that he orchestrated the transfer of a person from the leadership of A.N.P.C. in Caraș-Severin to appoint a politically favored individual.
The injured party, V.I.C., obtained the position of deputy chief commissioner in 2014, but was transferred three times between 2024-2025, being subjected to moral pressures and threats to give up his position. In this case, other individuals are also involved, including Sebastian Ioan Hotca, vice president of ANPC, and Paul Silviu Anghel, general director, accused of abuse of office and blackmail. Elena-Mirela Vasile is accused of complicity in blackmail.
