The state of alert in the commune of Praid has been extended until September 9, 2025, and the temporary evacuation of the population remains in force. Evacuees can only return to their homes during the day. Work to divert the Corund Creek is ongoing and information and assistance measures are in place. The authorities are constantly monitoring the salinity of the water and the full return of the population will be possible once the monitoring systems are operational.
