More than 3000 Hasidic Jews are returning from Ukraine, where they went to Uman, to celebrate Rosh Hashanah. Suceava airport has become a transit route as authorities in Chisinau have refused requests for charter flights. Two tents have been erected near the airport to handle the large flow of pilgrims.
