The president of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, announced that no decision has been reached in the coalition regarding the bill concerning the pension-salary accumulation. He mentioned that the project could be included in a future accountability engagement or sent as a bill.

Grindeanu emphasized that no exceptions are desired, except for those stipulated by the Constitutional Court, which must be respected. The Minister of Labor, Florin Manole, confirmed that PSD will not support exceptions, and Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan explained that the project would target non-contributory pensions, considering it abnormal for a person to retire early and then be employed in the public sector. The project will be finalized soon, taking into account the decisions of the Constitutional Court and the realities in the field.
