The Bucharest Gendarmerie has sanctioned six gendarmes for disciplinary offenses following complaints from Bucharest Pride 2025 participants.

The General Directorate of Gendarmes of Bucharest conducted an internal investigation after Bucharest Pride 2025 participants complained about the behavior of the gendarmes during the event. Following the investigations, six gendarmes were disciplined and the sanctions include the loss of financial rights. The Gendarmerie has reaffirmed its commitment to respect the rules and principles of ethics in its work.
