The book 'In the service of the country' was printed in 3,000 copies at a cost of 23,659 euro, from public money. The PNL also spent €2.5 million on the book's publicity campaign ahead of the 2024 European parliamentary and presidential elections. Both the PNL and the publisher RAO declined to provide information about the costs related to the book.
