The moment when a child falls from a moving van on the E87, captured by the dashboard camera of a car

On the E87 road, between the localities of Nalbant and Cataloi, a serious incident occurred when a child fell from a moving van.

The moment was captured by the dashboard camera of another vehicle. It seems that the little one was left unattended next to the sliding door of the van and was not wearing a seatbelt. At one point, he opened the door, fell onto the asphalt, and rolled several meters. In the footage, it can be seen how the child gets up, visibly hurt and disoriented, and starts to walk towards the opposite direction, heading towards a truck coming from the opposite direction.

A man intervened quickly, managing to catch the child before he reached in front of the truck, taking him to a safe place. According to initial information, the child escaped without serious injuries. A witness to the incident, an employee of SAJ Tulcea, stated that the van driver refused to go to the hospital or the police.

The police took notice of the incident and opened a criminal case for bodily injury through negligence, with investigations currently underway to establish the exact circumstances of the incident.
