A thunderstorm in Mures county felled 28 trees and injured one person who was struck by lightning in Jabenița

On Sunday evening, a severe thunderstorm hit eastern Mures county, bringing down 28 trees, mostly in Târgu Mures, and generating about 120 112 calls. One person was struck by lightning in Jabenița, but is conscious and has been taken to hospital for investigations. The authorities have mobilized nine intervention vehicles and are monitoring the situation, warning citizens to avoid moving and take shelter in safe places.
