Serious accident on DN 1, in Bihor: A collision between a truck, two cars, and an empty tanker resulted in the death of one person and the injury of three others.

A serious road accident occurred on Wednesday morning on DN 1 Huedin-Oradea, in the locality of Cornițel, Bihor County, involving a truck, two cars, and an empty tanker. A truck overturned, hitting a power pole and causing fuel leaks.

As a result of the collision, a 53-year-old woman from Căpușu Mare died, and three other people, including the drivers of the involved cars, were injured and transported to the hospital. The accident was caused by a 32-year-old man from Oradea, who entered the opposite lane. The Bihor Police are conducting investigations to determine the circumstances of the accident, investigating the crimes of manslaughter and bodily harm due to negligence. Traffic was blocked in the area.
