Serious accident on DN 1: A child has died, and a woman is in serious condition.

On Saturday afternoon, a serious accident occurred on DN 1, between the localities of Șercaia and Mândra, involving three cars. Nine people were involved in the collision, including five adults and four minors. Upon the arrival of the intervention teams, a child was in cardiac arrest, and a woman around 40 years old was in the same condition.

Despite resuscitation efforts, the minor was declared dead, while the woman responded to medical intervention and was transported to the Emergency Reception Unit of Brașov County Hospital, being polytraumatized.

Additionally, a man with various injuries was transported to UPU Brașov, and three children with minor injuries received medical care. SMURD teams, ambulances, and a rescue vehicle intervened at the scene to manage the emergency situation.
