A road accident on DC51 led to the death of a driver and the injury of a passenger.

On Saturday morning, a serious road accident occurred on County Road 51 (DC51), at kilometer 1+800, near the locality of Greci. A 58-year-old man, driving a car, entered the opposite lane and collided head-on with an agricultural tractor driven by a 20-year-old. As a result of the impact, the driver of the car died, while the front-right passenger sustained minor injuries.

The tractor driver was tested with a breathalyzer, and the result was negative. Traffic was temporarily blocked for investigations, and the inquiry is ongoing under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office next to the Măcin Court, regarding the crime of manslaughter.
