On Saturday, on the Berceni road in Bucharest, a 79-year-old woman crashed into a pedestrian, seriously injuring the victim, a 48-year-old woman. Police officers and a medical crew intervened at the scene and transported the victim to hospital. The driver was tested with a breathalyzer and the result was negative. The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident and traffic has been restricted on the first lane of Berceni.
