On Friday, May 23, 2025, a serious road accident occurred in Lețcani, involving a coach with 20 passengers and a truck. Three people were found conscious but trapped, requiring the intervention of specialized crews. Following the incident, the authorities activated the Red Intervention Plan, mobilizing medical resources and rescue crews, including SMURD helicopter and ambulances, to manage the situation and provide medical help.
