A machine fell from the Bucium Bridge, municipality of Iași, following a collision with a truck. The Emergency Situations Inspectorate (ISU) reported that a woman was extracted from the twisted metal of the vehicle, being in cardiac arrest. The intervention teams began resuscitation maneuvers immediately.

Forces from ISU, including three fire-fighting vehicles, one intervention and rescue vehicle, a mobile intensive care unit, and a qualified first aid team, were dispatched to the scene. Additionally, two teams from the County Ambulance Service intervened to provide first medical aid. The intervention is ongoing, and so far there is no information about other victims. Authorities are working to prevent further emergency situations and ensure the safety of the area.
