The red intervention plan has been activated in Galați: a bus with 44 people has overturned.

A bus registered in the Republic of Moldova, with 44 Moldovan citizens on board, overturned on Saturday morning on the European Road E581, between Priponești and Tutova, in Galați County. As a result of the accident, one person died, and 14 others were injured and transported to the hospital. Authorities activated the Red Intervention Plan, mobilizing teams from the Galați and Vaslui Emergency Situations Inspectorate, including 3 SMURD teams and special vehicles for transporting multiple victims.

The unaffected passengers were transported by ISU minibuses to continue their journey. Traffic was blocked in both directions, but at 6:45, authorities announced the deactivation of the Red Plan. The rapid intervention of the teams ensured the provision of first aid and the transport of victims to medical units in Bârlad and Tecuci.
