Two cars collided violently on a highway between Olt and Teleorman, resulting in the death of both drivers and the injury of a passenger.

On Thursday morning, a serious accident took place on DN 54, between Gârcov (Olt) and Islaz (Teleorman), involving a truck and a car. Following the collision, the car caught fire and the driver was found charred. The driver of the truck also died on the spot. A third man, a passenger in the truck, was injured and rushed to hospital. Road traffic was blocked for rescue operations, and ISU crews were mobilized to extinguish the fire and rescue the firefighters. The pictures from the accident scene are shocking.
