A 57-year-old security guard was hit by a man at the Piața Unirii 2 station, after a verbal conflict. The police have launched an investigation.

On Saturday evening, at the subway station Piața Unirii 2, a 57-year-old security guard was physically assaulted by a 37-year-old man, following a verbal conflict. The incident was captured by surveillance cameras, and the police from the Public Transport Police Brigade took notice of it ex officio. Although the security guard has not yet filed a complaint against the aggressor, he reserves the right to do so within the legal timeframe. Investigations are ongoing by the police, under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Sector 3 Court, to establish the exact circumstances of the assault, which falls under the crime of assault or other violence.
