The police of the Prahova County Police Inspectorate, under the coordination of prosecutors from the Ploiești Court Prosecutor's Office, launched searches on Wednesday in two cases concerning tax evasion and the issuance of CEC checks without coverage, with the total damage estimated at 126,000 lei.
These searches are taking place at the offices of two commercial companies and at the home of their administrator, located in Câmpina and Albești-Paleologu. According to investigations, between April 2023 and February 2024, the administrator allegedly effectively controlled the two companies, purchasing goods by issuing CEC checks without available funds in the account.
Additionally, three search warrants are being executed in Ploiești, targeting another company, as part of a criminal case related to tax evasion, allegedly committed between March 2024 and February 2025. Two individuals will be taken to the IJP Prahova headquarters for questioning.
The action is supported by public order and forensic structures.
