The raids are taking place at the police officer's home and at the headquarters of the Beiuș Rural Police Station. He is suspected of having received material advantages between October 2023 and October 2024 for not fulfilling his duties in a rape case. The raids are being carried out by judicial police officers of the General Anticorruption Directorate - Bihor County Anticorruption Service, under the coordination of a case prosecutor.
