ARSVOM has launched a search mission for two sailors missing from the ship AGN RAGNAR in the Sulina area.

A vessel from the Romanian Agency for Maritime Human Life Saving (ARSVOM) has been dispatched on a mission to search for two sailors who are reported missing from the AGN RAGNAR ship, in the Sulina area.

According to ARSVOM representatives, the SAR Apollo vessel was requested on Sunday at 10:27 by the MRCC (Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre) of the Romanian Naval Authority. The two sailors are part of the crew of the AGN RAGNAR, a general cargo ship destined for the port of Galați, according to information available on the marinetraffic website.

The search mission continues, and the authorities are on alert to find the missing individuals.
