A search conducted by police in Bucharest led to the discovery of a lethal STEYR pistol, caliber 9x19 mm, and 23 lethal cartridges, hidden in the bed's drawer of a 55-year-old man. He was convicted in 2015 for attempted murder and was recently released. The man was taken for questioning, and investigations continue within a criminal case for violating the weapons and ammunition regime.
