The SANITAS Federation announced on Tuesday that it firmly opposes the Salary Law, in the context of the consultations at Cotroceni.

Representatives of the organization emphasized that they will not accept a version of the law that does not fully include the proposals presented on August 7. The interim Minister of Labor, Dragoș Pîslaru, stated that the Salary Law is in the finalization stage, mentioning that discussions with the unions have been fruitful.

SANITAS highlighted that the model proposed by them is essential for an ethical reform of salaries and that any agreement with social partners must reflect this model. Additionally, political party leaders have been summoned to Cotroceni to discuss the draft law, with the aim of meeting the deadline set in the PNRR. SANITAS emphasized that until they receive an updated version of the law, they cannot provide a firm position to their members.
