The mountain rescuers from Prahova have issued a warning regarding the consistent layer of snow deposited in the mountainous area, starting at an altitude of 1200 m. On the Bucegi Plateau, the new snow measures approximately 15 cm, adding to the existing layer. In this context, Salvamont Prahova recommends that tourists equip themselves properly for winter conditions and check the cable car operating schedule and weather conditions before ascending. It is also important to mention that high-altitude tourist trails remain closed, and meteorologists forecast continued snowfall across the entire mountainous area.
