A Russian military drone crashed on the territory of Romania, near the locality of Parcheș, on March 26, 2026. The Ministry of National Defense (MApN) informed that the drone penetrated 4 kilometers into Romanian airspace, having been diverted by Ukrainian air defense. The incident occurred after a series of drone attacks carried out by Russia on targets in Ukraine, near the border with Romania. Following the crash, no material damage or casualties were reported. The area has been secured, and MApN and SRI teams will conduct further investigations. Two F-16 aircraft were dispatched to monitor the air situation, and authorities alerted the population in the northern part of Tulcea County through a RO-ALERT message.
