In Washington, D.C., the partner of President Nicușor Dan, Mirabela Grădinaru, together with state advisors Ana Maria Geană and Diana Punga, and Ambassador Alexandru Muraru, organized a round table with the Romanian medical community in the USA. The discussions focused on the importance of prevention, early intervention, and cooperation between health, education, and social protection systems to protect vulnerable children.
Romanian doctors in the USA expressed their willingness to support Romania through their expertise and to contribute to the development of public policies inspired by American experience. The meeting addressed issues related to addictions, including digital ones, and emphasized the need for a multidisciplinary approach. Possible collaborations were discussed, such as exchanges of best practices and mentoring programs for Romanian doctors. The Presidential Administration highlighted that addiction prevention must be a priority, and international cooperation can bring sustainable solutions.
