Romsilva has created an online store to sell firewood directly to the population.

Romsilva has launched, for the first time, an online store called "romsilva.store", aimed at selling firewood to the population, thus facilitating the procurement of firewood for families. The general director, Jean Vișan, announced that the agency has sold directly over 1.75 million cubic meters of firewood, with an increase of approximately 50,000 cubic meters compared to the previous year, maintaining the price at 300 lei per cubic meter, excluding VAT.

The forestry departments offer various delivery options and additional services, such as transportation and wood cutting. In the first 11 months of the year, Romsilva has supplied nearly 7 million cubic meters of wood to economic agents, with a 21% increase in standing timber compared to the previous year. For 2026, the agency anticipates a harvest of 9.35 million cubic meters of roundwood.
