Romanian firefighters deployed in Greece have been working in the Palaia Fokaia area to put out the fires, braving poor visibility and strong winds. The IGSU announced that the interventions included protecting homes and infrastructure, supplying water to fire engines and monitoring the affected area. The firefighting efforts continued until dawn, with crews maintaining an active presence to control the fire and prevent reignition.
