Russia launched a new drone attack on the night from Friday to Saturday against southern Ukraine, near the border with Romania, in the area of the Reni–Ismail ports on the Danube.

On the night of November 21 to 22, two F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jets were launched from the 86th Air Base to monitor the air situation at the border with Ukraine, following the intensification of Russian attacks and the detection of drones in the Ismail area. The Ministry of National Defense (MApN) issued a Ro-Alert message for the northern part of Tulcea County, highlighting the high level of vigilance maintained by the authorities. The F-16s returned to base at 3:42 AM, without any recorded incursions of drones into Romanian airspace.
