Nicușor Dan, message after the Coalition of Will meeting: "We remain determined to maintain pressure on Russia"

President Nicușor Dan declared on Monday, after the Coalition of Will meeting, that Romania will continue to support Ukraine and maintain pressure on Russia to achieve a just and lasting peace.

During the meeting, which coincided with Ukraine's Independence Day, Nicușor Dan emphasized the importance of reaffirming support for Ukraine and discussions to finalize a solid framework of security guarantees.

Additionally, according to the president, incidents involving drones at NATO borders and hybrid activities carried out by Russia were addressed, highlighting the need to secure navigation and trade routes in the Black Sea.

Nicușor Dan condemned Russia's recent attacks against the Ukrainian civilian population, considering them acts of "irresponsibility and cruelty".
