The Ministry of Education of Romania has announced the approval of the regulatory proposal for the Erasmus+ program 2028-2034, considered an essential tool for strengthening educational mobility and European cooperation.
The Minister of Education and Research, Mihai Dimian, participated in the meeting of the Council of Education, Youth, Culture and Sports, where the necessary documents for the implementation of the program were approved. The new structure of Erasmus+ will contribute to increasing the quality and relevance of educational systems in Europe, supporting university alliances and collaboration with other European initiatives. Additionally, the adopted conclusions emphasize the importance of developing teachers' digital competencies in the era of artificial intelligence, promoting its responsible integration into education. The Ministry of Education believes that new technologies should support teaching activities without replacing the essential role of teachers.
