Although Romania is enjoying a surge in popularity, the official number of foreign tourists remains low, with just 2.4 million visitors in 2024. They spend significant amounts, but statistics reflect only half of those who enter the country. Bucharest and other destinations are attracting more and more tourists, and the city is becoming increasingly cosmopolitan, with a diversity of languages spoken at its center.
