The Ministry of Transport of Romania, through Ciprian Șerban, announces initiatives aimed at modernizing and decarbonizing the transport sector. The funding obtained will allow for the purchase of 16 modern electric locomotives and 20 interregional electric trains, thus improving energy efficiency and connectivity between major cities. Additionally, the e-Drive scheme will be implemented, which will support the transition to zero-emission road vehicles and modernize the fleet of public institutions, including the charging infrastructure.
