President Nicușor Dan has promulgated the law that introduces the obligation for young Romanians, aged between 18 and 35, who complete voluntary military service to return to the country within a maximum of 15 days in case of war, transforming them into members of the operational reserve and thus strengthening the strategic preparedness of the army.
Romanians aged between 18 and 35 can undergo up to four months of military training, receiving remuneration for this, equal to three average gross salaries, which is around 27,000 lei (approximately 5,500 euros).
