According to Decathlon data, Romania remains in the top 3 fastest growing European markets for bicycle sales, with Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj, Brasov and Constanta as leading cities. Children's bikes are the best sellers, with the electric segment up more than 40%. The average price for children's bikes ranges between 1,000 and 2,000 lei, and for adults between 1,200 and 1,500 lei. Almost 40% of Decathlon's bikes are locally produced and the retailer has 31 stores in Romania.
