Bogdan Ivan, the Minister of Energy, stated that the issue of the 95,000 households without electricity has been resolved, with all being reconnected by Friday evening. He convened a new national energy command to ensure sufficient natural gas in light of the weather warnings of frost. Gas consumption has increased significantly, and the storage is covered at a rate of 65%, exceeding the European Union average. Ivan emphasized the importance of summer preparations, when operators ensured full storage. He also mentioned that electricity production remains at an acceptable level, with a diversified structure. In the context of the difficulties encountered, the issues in Craiova have been resolved, and Elcen Bucharest is supplying thermal energy according to the contract.
