Dragoș Pîslaru stated that Romania has a "green light" to transfer strategic projects from the PNRR, such as hospitals and infrastructure, to cohesion policy, in cases where they are in the early stages (0-30%). This is crucial to ensure funding in the context of budgetary issues. Eight hospitals will remain under the PNRR, while another 13, including military hospitals, can be funded through cohesion. Pîslaru emphasized the importance of prioritizing projects, including in the energy sector, to improve the lives of Romanians.
